Mary Jacqueline Rich

Mrs. Mary J. Rich “Jackie”, 86 of Utica, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester. She was born on March 10, 1925 in Palms to the late Ralph and Sadie (McGinnis) Fagan. She married Ronald E. Rich on October 18, 1947 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Palms. He preceded her in death on September 2, 1991. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and close friends. She is survived by her three children, Gwenna Dennis and her husband, Daniel of Shelby Township, Roxanna Smith and her husband, William of Dearborn, Christopher Rich and his wife, Ramona of Riverview, Mich.; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; many loving family members. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Hugh and Bill Fagan. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 noon, Friday, September 9 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Palms. Rev. Peter Nwokoye, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the church only on Friday from 10am until the mass at noon. Care has been entrusted to the Smigielski Funeral Home in Minden City.
