Brent M. Tinsey, 20 of Ubly, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011. He was born April 22, 1991 in Bad Axe to Rodney J. Tinsey and Rickelle Walsh. Brent was a 2009 graduate of Bad Axe High School. While in high school he played soccer, football, baseball, basketball and hockey. He was a member of the Stone Cold Hockey Team and the Huron County Hockey Association. He was employed at W.P. Walsh & Co. for 7 years. He enjoyed golfing, four wheeling, dirt bikes, music, creative writing, hunting and fishing. Brent is survived by his father, Rodney Tinsey of Bad Axe; his mother, Rickelle Walsh of Ubly; one brother Jesse Walsh of Ubly; paternal grandparents, Larry and Alice Talaski of Bad Axe; maternal grandparents, W. Joseph and Patricia Walsh of Ubly; his aunts and uncles, Eric (Nicole) Tinsey of Argyle, Rhonda (Gary) Bucholtz of Port Hope, Chris (Jenny) Talaski of Yale; Diana (Robert) Walsh-Reuss of Corona, Calif., Paul (Patti) Walsh of Snover, Laura (Paul) Ubelhor of Addison Twp., Steve (Hollie) Walsh of Ubly, Joseph (Kim) Walsh of Ubly, Jon (Sue) Walsh of Huron, Ohio; many cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Duane Tinsey. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am Saturday, November 26, 2011 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Freiburg. Rev. Joseph Griffin, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly on Friday from 1-9 pm and Saturday from 10-11 am at St. Ignatius Church. There will be a parish vigil service Friday evening at 7 pm at the funeral home.
