Margaret Sophia Pawloski-Bukoski

Mrs. Margaret “Busha” S. Pawloski-Bukoski, 90 of Harbor Beach, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011 at the Lakeview Extended Care Facility in Harbor Beach. She was born on July 16, 1921 in Parisville to the late John and Martha (Kucharczyk) Hoin. She married Anthony F. Pawloski on November 18, 1939 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Parisville. He preceded her in death on March 4, 1975. She then married John T. Bukoski on December 20, 1980 at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church in Harbor Beach. He preceded her in death on January 26, 1996. Margaret was a graduate of a country school. She was a homemaker and worked with her husband on the farm in Sigel Twp. She then moved to Ubly in 1953 and later moved to Harbor Beach in 1980 with her husband, John. She was a parishioner at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church in Harbor Beach. She enjoyed word search puzzles, game shows, feeding the birds and gardening. She truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to bake cookies for her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Pawloski and his wife, Joan of Jacksonville, NC, Ronald Pawloski and his wife, Susann of Cass City; three daughters, Shirlee Bourne and her husband, Walker B. Jr. of Schertz, TX, Ann M. Rogers of Hazel Park, Debra M. McLeod of Bad Axe; one son-in-law, Robert Mosteller of Jacksonville, Fla.; 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, one daughter, Elizabeth “Betty” Mosteller; two brothers, one sister, one infant brother and one infant sister. A memorial vigil service for Margaret will be 11 am, Saturday, December 3 at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly. Rev. William Spencer, pastor of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery in Ubly. Visitation with Margaret’s family will be on Saturday from 10 am until the service at 11 am. Memorials are requested to the Family Discretionary Fund.
