Mrs. Florence P. Vogler, 92 of West Bloomfield, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 at her residence. She was born on April 27, 1920 in Huron County to the late Bruno and Bernice (Bureiza/Brazear) Longuski. She married George M. Vogler on September 20, 1947 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Sheridan Corners. He preceded her in death on March 18, 1994. Florence attended a country school and was a graduate of a cosmetology school in Detroit. She was a former parishioner at St. William Catholic Church in Walled Lake and a former parishioner at St. Columbkille in Sheridan Corners. Florence enjoyed sewing, painting, needle work and canning and cooking for her family. Florence is survived by one son, Kurt Vogler of West Bloomfield, four daughters, Deborah Vogler of West Bloomfield, Paula Vogler of Madison Heights, Lisa Vogler of Wixom and Vanessa Vogler and her significant other, Walter Budda of Madison Heights; two sisters, Gladys Pickering of Bad Axe and Eleanor (Cyril) Landra of Saginaw. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerome Longuski, Eugene Longuski & Bruno Longuski Jr. Mass of Christian burial will be 11 am Tuesday, July 31 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Sheridan Corners. Rev. Joseph Griffin, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly on Monday from 1:00-8:00 pm and Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 am at the church only.
