Mr. Virgil A. Gosdzinski, 79 of Caro, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the Aleta E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw. Virgil was born on April 17, 1933 in Tyre to the late Leo and Edna (Kulish) Gosdzinski. Virgil graduated from the Tyre Elementary School. He worked on the family farm for many years. He was a certified mechanic for the Chevrolet dealer in Caro and Al & George Standard Service in Garden City. He retired from the Ford Mazda Plant after approximately 12 years of employment. He enjoyed deer hunting, snowmobiling, fishing and arts and crafts shows. He is survived by one brother, George Gosdzinski and his wife, Mildred of Ruth; one sister, Marie Zurek of Novi; many nieces and nephews; his loving companion, Charlotte “Char” Wright of Caro and her dogs, Lucky and Sissie. Virgil was preceded in death by four brothers, Alfred, Joseph, Leonard & Harold; two sisters, Bernadette Benson and infant, Genevieve. Per Virgil’s wishes, there will be no services. He will be buried at the Holly National Cemetery at a later date.
