Robert Orshoski

Mr. Robert Orshoski, 75 of Harbor Beach, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on October 12, 1937 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late Frank and Dallas (Mouer) Orshoski. Robert enlisted in the US Army in December of 1960 and served his country until 1962. He then became a member of the US Coast Guard and retired as Chief Petty Officer from the St. Clair Coast Guard Station after 30 years of service. Robert also managed the Harbor Beach Marina for many years. Robert is survived by his wife, Linda; one son, Adam Orshoski and his wife, Elizabeth; three daughters, Pamela (Don) Dehning, Heather Orshoski and her fiancé, Steve Shutt, Bobbie (Edward) Bezemek; 6 grandchildren, Shawn, Katelyn, Douglas, Alexzander, Connor & Marie; his special canine companion, Winston. A memorial service for Robert will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 1 at Zion Lutheran Church in Harbor Beach. Pastor Richard Wilson of Trinity Lutheran Church in Forestville, will officiate. Visitation will be at the church Tuesday from 1:00 until the service at 2:00 pm. Memorials have been requested to the Family Discretionary Fund.
