Laura Evelyn Gentner

Laura E. Gentner, 31 of Bad Axe, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 30, 2013. She was born on April 12, 1982 in Westminster, Colorado to Gary and Kristine (Mausolf) Gentner. Laura was a 2000 graduate of Ubly High School. She worked in sales in Birch Run as well as the Montrose area, where she also resided. Laura loved animals and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Laura is survived by her son, James “Jay” Hall IV; her parents, Gary and Kristine Gentner of Ubly; one sister, Alayna Partaka and her husband, Joseph of Bay City; her grandmother, Joyce Gentner of Port Sanilac, several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph Gentner and Lawrence and Dorothy Mausolf. The Memorial Service will be 7:00 pm Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly. Visitation is from 3:00 pm till 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Pastor Monique Carpenter of the United Methodist Church in Minden City, will officiate. Memorials have been requested to the Family Discretionary Fund.
