Mr. Robert H. Andersen, 72 of Bad Axe, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe. He was born on July 1, 1942 in Mt. Clemens to the late Peter and Ellen (Westergaard) Andersen. He married Pamela Kerrigan on November 20, 1981 in Toledo, Ohio. Robert was a graduate of Troy High School. He worked for King Centerless Grinding in Madison Heights for 17 years. He then owned and operated American Centerless Grinding for 25 years before retiring in 2003. Robert was an avid wrestling fan his whole life. He also enjoyed golfing, collecting classic cars and hot rods, and his dogs. Robert truly enjoyed spending time with his loving family. Robert is survived by his wife, Pamela of Bad Axe; his children, James Kellogg and his wife, Carmen of Fla., Karen Akers of Taylor, Kevin Kellogg and his wife, Becca of Lapeer; 10 grandchildren, Daniel, Joseph Robert, Ashley, Becca, Megan, Karissa, Derrick, Michael and Makayla; 4 great grandchildren, Alexis, Abbigail, Noah and Ander; one sister, Nancy McSwain of Troy; one brother, Richard Andersen and his wife, Judy of Rochester Hills; two nephews; one niece. Memorials have been requested to the American Diabetes Association, 300 Galleria Officentre, Suite 111, Southfield, MI 48034.
