Joyce A. Czewski

Mrs. Joyce A. Czewski, 83 of Ubly, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at Covenant Medical Center in Saginaw. Joyce was born September 22, 1933 in Kinde to the late Jesse and Mary (Brown) Hagle. She married Norbert Czewski on October 6, 1951 at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Kinde. During her lifetime, Joyce enjoyed several years being a homemaker while her children were young, Later, she was employed by Ubly Community School and then at Lyntex until she retired. Joyce was a parishioner of St. John Catholic Church in Ubly for 65 years. She enjoyed traveling, time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, working in her flower beds and her kitchen. Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Norbert; daughters, Paulette (Dan) Polzien of Newberry, Sharon of West Branch, Kathy of Parrish, Fla.; one son, Randy of Lapeer; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, David, three brothers, Jesse, Bill and Ellis Hagle, one sister, Margaret Boyce. A private funeral Mass and celebration of Joyce’s life is being planned.
