Theresa May Guza

Mrs. Theresa M. Guza, 88 of Rapson passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Cherrywood Nursing and Living Center in Sterling Heights. She was born May 24, 1928 in Rapson to the late Frank and Elsie (Marx) Pawloski. She married Francis “Frank” Guza on April 25, 1953 at St. Dennis Catholic Church in Royal Oak. He preceded her in death on January 23, 2004. Theresa was a current parishioner at St. Gertrude Catholic Church of St. Clair and a former parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rapson. Theresa is survived by four sons, Dennis (Edith) Guza of Virginia, James Guza of Glendale, AZ, Frank J. (Doris) Guza of Whitmore Lake, Joseph (Elaine) Guza of Sterling Heights; one daughter, Nancy Guza of Utica; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Bernice Pawloski of Warren; one brother-in-law, Robert Guza of Cass City; one niece, Jennie Osentoski of Shelby Township. Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 am Friday, February 17 at St. Hubert Parish, St. Joseph Church in Rapson. Rev. Robert Howe, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery in the spring. Visitation will be at St. Joseph Church in Rapson on Friday from 10:00-11:00 am.
