Barbara Ann Walsh

Mrs. Barbara Walsh, 57, of Ubly, MI passed away Thursday, November 18^th at Hills and Dales Hospital in Cass City, MI.

            Barbara was born December 24^th, 1963 to William and Shirley (Erickson) McKenzie in Mount Clements, MI. She married Charles Walsh on July 14, 1989 in Sandusky.

            Barbara graduated from Warren Woods High School. In moving to Ubly with her husband Charles, Barbara found enjoyment in playing cards and many other types of games with her family and friends. She truly enjoyed caring for her many beloved horses and chickens. Above all else, she loved being around her family, spending cherished time with them whenever she could.

            Barbara is survived by her husband, Charles Walsh of Ubly, MI;  three sons: William R. Walsh of Filion, MI, Charles (Krystin) W. Walsh of Kinde, MI, Alexander R. Walsh of Ubly, MI; her mother, Shirley A. McKenzie of Warren, MI; sisters: Sarah Tessmer of Naples, FL, Joyce Piec, of Warren, MI, Susan Wohlfarth, of Warren, MI; brothers: Dan McKenzie of Lennard, MI, Robert McKenzie of Warren, MI, Michael McKenzie of Clinton Township, MI; many beloved nieces and nephews.

            She was preceded in death by her father, William E. McKenzie.

            The memorial service for Barbara will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 4 at Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly, Rev. Nate Harburg, pastor of Good Shepherd Parish in Ubly will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00-2:00 pm.

            Memorials in Barbara’s honor have been requested to her family, in care of her loving husband, Charles Walsh.
