Donald Anthony Ertman

Mr. Donald Anthony Ertman, 82 of Minden City, died Wednesday June 27, 2018 at Autumnwood of Deckerville.

Donald was born April 6, 1936 in Detroit to the late Walter and Bertha (Peplinski) Ertman.  He married Rosalie Dysarz on February 12, 1957 at St. Stanislaus in Detroit.

Donald graduated from 8^th grade.  He worked at various companies in Detroit and Huron County. He was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Freiburg.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing euchre and watching the Detroit Lions, Tigers and Red Wings.

Donald is survived by his wife Rosalie of Minden City; four daughters: Cynthia Casey of Ubly, Cheryl Bresky of Elkton, Denise Ertman of Ubly and Dawn Ertman of South Lyon. 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Two sisters: Marilyn (Allen) Klco of Frankenmuth, Janice (Don) Braun of Pensicola, Florida. One brother in law: Jack Danielak. One sister in law: Theresa Ertman.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Michelle and Audrey, one granddaughter Penny McNeil, two sisters Lillian Wisniewski and Lorraine Danielak, three brothers Sylvester “Elmer” (Bernice) Ertman, Bernard “Jim” (Grace) Ertman & Melvin Ertman; son-in-law, Daniel Bresky.

A funeral service for Mr. Ertman will be Friday, July 6^th at Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly. The Rev. Charles Hammond, Pastor of Good Shepherd Parish in Ubly will officiate.

Visitation will be on Friday from 10 AM until the service time at 2 PM.  Memorials are requested to the Family Discretionary Fund.
