Doris Zdrojewski

August 27, 1933 — December 10, 2018

     Mrs. Doris M. Zdrojewski, 85 of Palms, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at Autumnwood of Deckerville after a long illness.

     Doris was born August 27, 1933 in McGregor, Michigan to the late Ollie and Jessie (Waun) Scott. She married S. Anthony “Whitey” Zdrojewski on June 13, 1953 at St. Patrick’s of Palms. He preceded her in death on April 29, 2015.

     Doris was a graduate of the Country School. She was a parishioner of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church of Palms since 1953. She farmed with her family and was a dietician at Deckerville Community Hospital for over 30 years. She enjoyed camping, music, dancing to polkas, cooking, playing cards, visiting with family and friends and bowling at Gillis’ Bar in Minden City.

     Doris is survived by four sons; James Zdrojewski of Palms, Steven (Suzanne) Zdrojewski of Hubert, North Carolina, Richard (Lana) Zdrojewski of Port Huron and Ronald Zdrojewski of Palms; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, JoAnn Zdrojewski of Sandusky; one sister in law, Betty Scott.

     She was preceded in death by two sons; Anthony “Bob” and Michael “Mike” Zdrojewski; three brothers, Gordon, William and Harry Scott; one sister, Agnes Seneski; two sisters in law, Betsy and Mary.

     Mass of Christian burial for Doris will be 12 noon, Thursday, December 13 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, St. Isidore Parish in Palms. Rev Todd Arnberg, pastor will officiate. Burial will be Downing Cemetery of Deckerville.

      Visitation for Doris will be from 10:00 until 11:45 am at the church only.

      Memorials have been requested to the Family Discretionary Fund. Please make donations to Doris’ family c/o Ronald Zdrojewski.
