Eunice Maxine Lutz

Mrs. Eunice M. Lutz, 102 of Forestville, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Autumnwood of Deckerville.

            She was born on March 20, 1919 in Wassipi, MI to the late John and Mary (Carlisle) Guthrie. She married William Lutz on February 13, 1943 in Dearborn. He preceded her in death on August 29, 2011.

            Eunice received her Associate degree from Western University and her Masters degree in teaching from Michigan State University. While living in Birmingham, she taught at Walled Lake Schools of Detroit, retiring in 1983 at the young age of 64. In 1985 she moved with her husband up to Forestville. Eunice was a parishioner of St. John Chrysostom Catholic Church in Forestville. She enjoyed her flower gardens, sewing clothes, embroidery and golfing with the ladies at Huron Shores.

            Eunice is survived by one daughter, Barbara Weil of Forestville; one son Paul Lutz of Southfield.

Private burial will take place at a later date.
