Frank J. Klee Jr.

Mr. Frank J. Klee Jr., 76 of Minden City, passed away October 3 2018 at the Deckerville Hospital of an apparent heart attack.

He was born on November 25, 1941 in Minden City to the late Frank J. (Laura Bell Woolner) Klee Sr. He married Ruth M. Meredith on December 1, 1962 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Ruth.

Frank graduated from Sts. Peter & Paul High School in Ruth and was a lifelong parishioner at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Holy Apostles Parish in Ruth. He farmed all his life and worked at Midwest Rubber for 30 years before he retired in 1998. Frank enjoyed wood working, furniture repair, gardening, planting fruit trees and hunting. Frank cherished time spent with his family and friends.

Frank is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ruth; His children, Christine (Alex) Miller of St. Clair, Carolyn (Bernie) Wolschleger of Carsonville, Cathy Klee (special friend, Jason Nelson) of Deckerville, Michael (Mary Beth) Klee of Minden City, Tracie (Douglas) Turner of Port Orange, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, Cheryl (Mark) Lendow, Daniel and Allan Miller, Ashley and Brianna Tarzwell, Dawn and Sarah Albrecht, Daelyn and David Wolschleger, Erica and Nicole Klee; one great grandson, Dexter Lendow; 8 siblings, Shirley (Irvin) Wrubel, Marjorie Parmann, Harold (Cheryl) Klee, Beverly Klee, John (Peggy) Klee, Donald (Marilyn) Klee, Richard (Linda) Klee, Robert (Marilyn) Klee.

Frank was preceded by his daughter, Terri Klee Tarzwell, grandson, Jacob Wolschleger, brother-in-law, Donald Parmann.

The Mass of Christian burial for Frank will be 11:00 am Monday, October 8 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Holy Apostles Parish in Ruth. Rev. Todd Arnberg, pastor of St. Isidore Parish in Parisville, will officiate. Burial will be in the Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Ruth.

Visitation will be at the Smigielski Funeral Home in Minden City on Sunday from 1:30-8:00 pm and Monday at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church from 10:00-10:45 am. There will be a parish vigil service Sunday afternoon at 4:00 pm.
