James P. Swiercz

James P. Swiercz, 78, of Ubly, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023 at McLaren Bay Regional Hospital in Bay City.

He was born on September 25, 1944 in Detroit to the late August and Nancy (Callaghan) Swiercz.

James served in the United States Military. He was a simple man who loved gardening and history. He also kept a collection of Model A and Model T vehicles, along with a lot of related memorabilia. He loved his dog, Henry. James also adored his grandchildren and cherished every moment they were able to spend together.

James is survived by his children, daughter Andrea and son Vincent; grandchildren, Timothy, Owen, and Kylee; and one brother, Danny Swiercz.

He is preceded in death by his son, Augie Swiercz, and his sister, Gretchen.

In accordance with James’ wishes, cremation has taken place.
