Randy M. Peruski

            Mr. Randy M. Peruski, 50 of Ubly passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at his residence of an apparent heart attack.

            He was born on October 30, 1967 in Milan to Richard and Christine (Briolat) Peruski. He married Nancy O’Parka on October 15, 1988 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Ruth.

            Randy was a graduate of Ubly High School. He worked all his life at his family business, Peruski Hardware of Ubly.  He did snow removal for 26 years and was a track official at Ubly Dragway for 28 years. Randy was a former member of St. John Catholic Church in Ubly and a former member of the Ubly Fox Hunters.  He enjoyed polkas, watching TV, especially drag racing, the woods and jamming out to 80’s rock music on Saturdays. Randy was anxiously waiting the arrival of his grandchild.

            Randy is survived by his wife of 29 years, Nancy Peruski of Ubly; one daughter, Ashley Laeder and her husband, Adam of Ubly; one grandchild on the way; his parents, Richard and Christine Peruski of Ubly; his sister, Kathy (Joe) Spencer of Ubly; his mother-in-law, Mildred O’Parka; two brothers-in-law, Mike (Elizabeth) O’Parka, Irvin (Sunny) O’Parka Jr.; five sisters-in-law, Kim (Gary) Dorsey, Charlene Hanson, Pauline Messing, Renee (Jerry) Wrubel, Tracy (Ken) Hessling, many nieces and nephews.

            Randy was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Irvin O’Parka.

            The funeral service for Randy will be 1:00 pm Thursday, April 12 at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly. Rev. Charles Hammond, pastor of Good Shepherd Parish in Ubly will officiate.

            Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00-8:00 pm and Thursday from 12:00 noon until the service at 1:00 pm.

            Memorials have been requested to the Family Discretionary Fund.
