Raymond J. Kwiatkowski

        Raymond J. Kwiatkowski, 55, of Bad Axe, passed away August 6, 2022 at home due to an unknown heart issue.

        Raymond was born on December 20, 1966 in Detroit to Shirley (Bukoski) and the late Alan Kwiatkowski. He was married to his beloved wife Annmarie, of Caro. on January 3, 1992 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro, MI.

        Raymond attended school at Sts. Peter and Paul in Ruth, as well as the Ubly Community Schools, after which he attended Delta Community College. After finishing his time at the Delta, he became an apprentice at Albat Line School in Ohio, where he learned the respectable skill of being a lineman.

        After finishing his apprenticeship at Albat Line School, he took a job with Thumb Electric Co-op in Ubly, where he worked for 22 years.

        Raymond was a proud member of the Ubly Fox Hunters Club, which came as no surprise, as Raymond loved hunting. He hunted all sorts of game, from coyote, to deer, and even bear. He spent much time at his hunting camp with family and friends.

        Raymond is survived by his wife, Annmarie (Broadworth) Kwiatkowski of Bad Axe; his two sons, Kade and Conner Kwiatkowski of Fowlerville; future daughter-in-law, Whitney Cameron of Fowlerville; his mother, Shirley Kwiatkowski of Fort Myers, Florida; his sister Christine (Kyle) Bowling of McGregor; his brother, James (Renee) Kwiatkowski of Punta Gorda, Florida; eight nephews; many cousins; and his beloved fur babies, Franklin, Freddie, Wallie, and Vivi; and his grand-pup, Marshal.

        The funeral service for Raymond will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday, August 11 at Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly. Father Nate Harburg, of the Good Shepherd Parish, and Bishop Jim Fader, of the Church of God Ministry Center in White Cloud.

        Visitation will be at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly on Wednesday, August 10 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and Thursday, August 11 from 12:00 noon until the time of service.

        In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ray's family, care of his beloved wife, Annmarie.
