Wayne L. Pagel Jr

Wayne Lawrence Pagel Jr, 58, of Port Huron, Michigan, passed away Saturday, April 1st, 2023, at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit.

Wayne was born to Wayne and Jane (Scott) Pagel on November 14th, 1963 in Sandusky, Michigan. Wayne attended Deckerville High School, where he graduated with a high school diploma in 1983.

Wayne gained much experience over the course of his life, working many different jobs, such as an ambulance driver, funeral assistant, farmhand, and most recently a meat cutter. When Wayne wasn’t working, he could be found celebrating his heritage at many a polka party.

Wayne is survived by his son, Wayne Pagel III; his father, Wayne Pagel Sr; his two brothers, John (Debra) Pagel and Scott (Tammy) Pagel; 2 grandchildren.

Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Pagel.

There will be a service held in memory of Wayne at a future date.

Care has been entrusted to Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly.
