Wayne "Shez" L. Sheasby

Mr. Wayne “Shez” Sheasby, 94 of White Rock, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was born June 17, 1928 in Superior, Wisconsin to the late Edward and Angela Sheasby. He married Lillian Pawlowski on August 6, 1983.

Shez worked for the Michigan Consolidated Gas Company for 34 years. He worked for Sherman Township for 35 years before retiring on October 1, 2022, only having taken three Saturdays off in those 35 years. A dedicated man he surely was. Shez enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and buddies. Shez enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbors at the Farmer's Tavern in Ruth. He enjoyed running The Ol' Farts Pool League for over 30 years. Shez cherished spending time with his family.

Survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Lillian of White Rock; daughter: Kimberly (Steven) Stein of White Rock; two sons, Cliff (Christine) Pawlowski, Minden City, Corey Pawlowski White Rock; 4 grandchildren, Alexander (Jennifer) Stein, Zachary (Emily) Stein, Natasha (Paul) Binder, Owendale, Ashley Soper, Bad Axe, 9 Great Grandchildren, Blake Alexander Stein, Elizabeth, Alivia, Christine, Madison, Liam, Wyatt, Tess, Sawyer, Braxton.

He was preceded in death by one great grandchild, Landon Binder.

The funeral service for Shez was 2:00 pm Saturday, October 29 at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home. Burial followed at White Rock Cemetery with military honors.
